In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting West Caldwell Warriors basketball team scored a good 67-57 triumph over the T.C. Roberson Rams.

The Warriors (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Maiden (Maiden, NC). The Blue Devils go into the 2A Catawba Valley contest with a 7-2 record.

In their next game, the Rams confront the North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) in a 3A/4A Mountain contest, on Friday, January 3. T.C. Roberson will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Black Hawks go into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 74-69 non-league win over North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC).
