In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting T.C. Roberson Rams basketball team scored a close 57-55 triumph over the North Buncombe Black Hawks.

The Rams (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Rockets go into the 3A/4A Mountain contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, A.C. Reynolds nipped Erwin (Asheville, NC), 68-26, in a league contest.
