Georgia High School Basketball - Bainbridge routs Miller County

December 28, 2024: Colquitt, GA 39837

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Bainbridge Bearcats basketball team scored a big 54-27 triumph over the Miller County Pirates.

The Bearcats (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cairo (Cairo, GA). The Syrupmakers go into the AAA Region 1 contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Cairo was trounced by Brooks County (Quitman, GA), 42-30, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pirates confront the Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) in a A D2 Region 1 contest, on Friday, January 3. Miller County will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-8 record after their 51-40 non-league loss to Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA).
