With the victory, Clayton advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Bears host Birchwood (Birchwood, WI) to face the Bobcats in a Lakeland - East match on Tuesday, January 7. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 2-4. Birchwood won 56-47 in their recent non-league match against Mellen (Mellen, WI)
The Lakers now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ellsworth for a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. Turtle Lake will face a Panthers squad coming off a 36-18 league loss to Baldwin-Woodville (Baldwin, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 3-5.
