The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Iowa Colony Pioneers (Iowa Colony, TX) and the visiting Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX), observed Iowa Colony's basketball team edge Cypress Ranch by a score of 40-38.

The Pioneers (14-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Alief Elsik (Houston, TX). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 14-10 record. In their last challenge, Alief Elsik edged Westside (Houston, TX), 51-27, in a non-league challenge.
