New Mexico High School Basketball - Santa Teresa toppled by Gadsden
December 28, 2024: Anthony, NM 88021 Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM), 37-26 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Gadsden advances its record to 6-6 on the year. The Panthers travel to Lovington (Lovington, NM) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 5-6.
The Desert Warriors now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patterson Institute for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Santa Teresa will face a Lions squad coming off a 40-21 non-league loss to Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Lions record now stands at 5-7.
