The Mount Union Trojans basketball squad (Mount Union, PA), was nudged 36-31 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA)

With the victory, Juniata Valley advances its record to 4-6 on the year. The Hornets host Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA) to meet the Black Knights/Damsels in a Inter County - North battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Black Knights/Damsels enter the battle with a record of 1-6.
