In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Loyola Academy Ramblers basketball team scored a good 51-39 win over the Lake Zurich Bears.

The Ramblers (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Redhawks come into the non-league contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Naperville Central was topped by Hampshire (Hampshire, IL), 58-53, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL) in a North Suburban contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Lake Zurich will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record.
