In Saturday's non-league test, the Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) basketball squad got by the host Moniteau Warriors (West Sunbury, PA), by a score of 46-39.

Next, the Rockets encounter the Franklin Knights (Franklin, PA) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 6. Slippery Rock will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record.

The Warriors (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Clarion-Limestone (Strattanville, PA). The Lions come into the Keystone Shortway test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Clarion-Limestone held off Commodore Perry (Hadley, PA), 62-46, in a non-league test.
