The Southeast Halifax Trojans basketball squad (Halifax, NC), was nudged 53-46 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC)

With the victory, Northwest Halifax advances its record to 4-5 on the year. The Vikings host Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC) to meet the Jaguars in a 1A Tar Roanoke battle on Friday, January 3. The Jaguars enter the battle with a record of 2-5. Rocky Mount Prep lost 72-7 in their recent non-league battle against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC)
