December 28, 2024: Edina, MN 55439 The Edina Hornets ice hockey team scored 3 points and held the visiting Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders to 2 in the Hornets non-league victory on Saturday.
The Hornets now own a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Family Catholic for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2. Edina will play a Fire team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN). The Fire record now stands at 5-4.
With the defeat, Cretin-Derham Hall moves to 7-2 on the season. The Raiders travel to East Ridge (Woodbury, MN) to play the Raptors in a Suburban East bout on Thursday, January 2. The Raptors go into the bout with a record of 4-5. East Ridge won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN)
