January 11, 2025: Edina, MN 55439 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Thomas Academy Cadets (Mendota Heights, MN) and the host Edina Hornets (Edina, MN), witnessed St. Thomas Academy's ice hockey team defeat Edina by a final score of 3-0.
The Cadets (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN). The Zephyrs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Mahtomedi by Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) in a Lake challenge, on Wednesday, January 15. Edina will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 6-6 league Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN).
