Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Powers Catholic knocks off Davison
December 28, 2024: Flint, MI 48505 The Powers Catholic Chargers ice hockey team scored 6 points and held the visiting Davison Cardinals to 2 in the Chargers league victory on Saturday.
The Chargers now own a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Howell for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. Powers Catholic will encounter a Highlanders team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Belleville (Belleville, MI). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-2.
With the defeat, Davison moves to 6-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Manistee (Manistee, MI) to encounter the Chippewas in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Chippewas go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Manistee won 6-1 in their recent non-league game against Anderson (Southgate, MI)
