December 28, 2024: Philadelphia, PA 19130 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Ignatius Wildcats (Cleveland, OH) and the host St. Joseph's Prep Hawks (Philadelphia, PA), witnessed St. Ignatius's ice hockey team hold off St. Joseph's Prep by a score of 3-2.
The Wildcats (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH). The Knights come into the challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, St. Francis de Sales got by Salem (Canton, MI), 14-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds (Bensalem, PA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. St. Joseph's Prep will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Firebirds come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Central Bucks South (Warrington, PA).
