Illinois High School Basketball - Sandwich knocked off by Hinckley-Big Rock
December 29, 2021: Sandwich, IL 60548 The Hinckley-Big Rock Royals basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Sandwich Indians to 46 in the Royals non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Royals now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mendota for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 30. Hinckley-Big Rock will meet a Trojans team coming off a 67-48 non-league loss to Longwood (Chicago, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 2-8.
The Indians (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Ottawa (Ottawa, IL). The Pirates enter the Interstate Eight contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Ottawa was outscored by Longwood (Chicago, IL), 56-48, in a non-league contest.
