The Bryson Cowboys (Bryson, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Gordon Longhorns (Gordon, TX), 30-27 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Cowboys (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Throckmorton (Throckmorton, TX). The Greyhounds go into the 1A Region III District 21 test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Throckmorton got by Graford (Graford, TX), 44-33, in a league test.
