December 29, 2022: Clarks Summit, PA 18411 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) and the visiting Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA), saw Abington Heights's basketball squad hold off Emmaus by a tally of 58-55.
With the victory, Abington Heights improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Scranton (Scranton, PA) to play the Knights in a Lackawanna 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Scranton won 58-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA)
Next up, the Hornets play the Northampton Konkrete Kids (Northampton, PA) in a Lehigh Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Emmaus will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Konkrete Kids come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 57-52 non-league loss to Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA).
