The Alton Redbirds basketball team (Alton, IL), dropped 58-48 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Triad Knights (Troy, IL)

The Knights now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Althoff Catholic for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. Triad will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 67-64 non-league loss to Rockford East (Rockford, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-8.

The Redbirds (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Granite City (Granite City, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Granite City dropped by McCluer North (Florissant, MO), 38-21, in a non-league battle.
