The Seward Bluejays basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Bishop Neumann Cavaliers to 43 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bluejays now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beatrice for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5.

The Cavaliers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City, NE). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Lourdes Central Catholic was nudged by Thayer Central (Hebron, NE), 46-27, in a non-league contest.
