February 2, 2023: Waverly, NE 68462 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE) and the host Waverly Vikings (Waverly, NE), saw Bishop Neumann's basketball squad knock off Waverly by a count of 60-44.
With the victory, Bishop Neumann upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Scotus (Columbus, NE) to play the Shamrocks in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Scotus lost 65-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincoln Lutheran (Lincoln, NE)
Next up, the Vikings play the Aurora Huskies (Aurora, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Waverly will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 55-32 non-league loss to Seward (Seward, NE).
