South Carolina High School Basketball - Calhoun Falls Charter can't hold off Saluda
December 29, 2022: Calhoun Falls, SC 29628 The Saluda Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes to 55 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Emerald for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Saluda will battle a Vikings team coming off a 65-59 non-league win over Laurens (Laurens, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 6-6.
The Blue Flashes (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC). The Hornets come into the A Region 2 contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Ware Shoals edged Greenwood Christian (Greenwood, SC), 70-59, in a non-league contest.
