December 29, 2022: Cass Lake, MN 56633 Cass Lake-Bena Panthers (Cass Lake, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Woods grizzlies (Cook, MN), 89-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cass Lake-Bena upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (Belgrade, MN) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa won 79-60 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain Iron-Buhl (Mountain Iron, MN)
Next up, the grizzlies clash with the B O L D Warriors (Olivia, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. North Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
