Minnesota High School Basketball - Blackduck nips North Woods
February 6, 2023: Cook, MN 55723 Blackduck Drakes (Blackduck, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host North Woods grizzlies (Cook, MN), 94-91 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Blackduck upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Drakes travel to Nevis (Nevis, MN) to play the Tigers in a A Section 5 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Nevis won 74-50 in their recent league bout against Laporte (Laporte, MN)
Next up, the grizzlies play the International Falls Broncos (International Falls, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. North Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record.
