In Thursday's non-league outing, the Cicero Prep Academy Centurions (Scottsdale, AZ) basketball squad edged the visiting Desert Christian Eagles (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 50-44.

The Centurions (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ). The Minotaur go into the non-league outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Odyssey Institute was tipped by Arete Prep (Gilbert, AZ), 65-55, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to St. John Paul II Catholic for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 29. Desert Christian will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 83-10 non-league loss to Sabino (Tucson, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 1-10.
