Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the East Boston Jets (East Boston, MA) and the visiting Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA), saw East Boston's basketball squad knock off Winthrop by a count of 69-61.

With the victory, East Boston upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Greater Lawrence Tech (Andover, MA) to play the Reggies in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Reggies come into the challenge with a record of 3-2.
