The Elkhorn South Storm basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Millard West Wildcats to 59 in the Storm non-league victory on Thursday.

The Storm now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellevue West for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Elkhorn South will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 87-37 non-league win over Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 7-0.

The Wildcats (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE). The Chieftains come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Bellevue East was nudged by Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE), 87-37, in a non-league contest.
