Ohio High School Basketball - Paint Valley nips Lynchburg-Clay
December 29, 2022: Bainbridge, OH 45612 Paint Valley Bearcats (Bainbridge, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs (Lynchburg, OH), 57-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Paint Valley upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Adena (Frankfort, OH) to play the Warriors in a Scioto Valley bout on Friday, January 6. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Adena lost 89-39 in their recent non-league bout against Valley (Lucasville, OH)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Williamsburg Wildcats (Williamsburg, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Lynchburg-Clay will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 54-34 non-league win over Purcell Marian (Cincinnati, OH).
