The Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Ocoee Knights (Ocoee, FL), 57-53 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Eagles (12-0) will now prepare for their test against Lee County (Leesburg, GA). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Lee County got by Savannah (Savannah, GA), 68-57, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Apopka for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 4. Ocoee will encounter a Blue Darters squad coming off a 58-49 non-league loss to Mainland (Daytona Beach, FL). The Blue Darters record now stands at 5-6.
