December 29, 2022: Williamstown, MA 01267 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Monument Mountain Spartans (Great Barrington, MA) and the host Mount Greylock Regional Mounties (Williamstown, MA), saw Monument Mountain's basketball squad wallop Mount Greylock Regional by a count of 81-52.
With the victory, Monument Mountain upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Easthampton/Hampshire (Easthampton, MA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-2.
Next up, the Mounties play the Mount Everett Regional Eagles (Sheffield, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Mount Greylock Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 44-33 non-league win over St. Mary (Westfield, MA).
