Illinois High School Basketball - Orion fells Stark County
December 29, 2022: Toulon, IL 61483 Orion Chargers (Orion, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL), 50-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Orion upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Chargers travel to Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Lena-Winslow won 44-42 in their recent non-league bout against Stockton (Stockton, IL)
Next up, the Rebels play the Princeville Princes (Princeville, IL) in a Lincoln Trail bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Stark County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Princes go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 55-36 non-league win over Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL).
