Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tussey Mountain can't hold off Somerset
December 29, 2022: Somerset, PA 15501 The Somerset Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Tussey Mountain Titans to 58 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bedford for a Laurel Highlands contest on Wednesday, January 4. Somerset will battle a Bisons team coming off a 62-52 non-league win over Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA). The Bisons record now stands at 2-5.
The Titans (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Fulton (Warfordsburg, PA). The Indians come into the Inter County - South contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Southern Fulton edged Northern (Accident, MD), 50-35, in a non-league contest.
