The North Star Cougars basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Tussey Mountain Titans to 34 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cougars now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host United for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. North Star will battle a Lions team coming off a 70-56 non-league win over Somerset (Somerset, PA). The Lions record now stands at 9-0.

The Titans (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Fulton (Warfordsburg, PA). The Indians enter the Inter County - South contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Southern Fulton triumphed over Northern (Accident, MD), 50-35, in a non-league contest.
