In Tuesday's non-league match, the host McConnellsburg Spartans basketball team scored a tight 62-55 triumph over the North Star Cougars.

In their next game, the Spartans meet the Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 3. McConnellsburg will attempt to move on its 22-3 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 18-7 record after their 49-38 non-league win over Windber (Windber, PA).
