South Dakota High School Basketball - Canistota overwhelmed by Platte/Geddes
December 29, 2022: Canistota, SD 57012 The Platte/Geddes Black Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Canistota Hawks to 33 in the Black Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Black Panthers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corsica/Stickney for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Platte/Geddes will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 54-32 non-league loss to Sioux Valley (Volga, SD). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-3.
The Hawks (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Colman-Egan (Colman, SD). The C-E Hawks come into the B Region 3 contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Colman-Egan was routed by Freeman (Freeman, SD), 53-41, in a non-league contest.
