Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Gruver Greyhounds (Gruver, TX) and the visiting Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX), saw Gruver's basketball squad wallop Caprock by a tally of 48-16.

With the victory, Gruver improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Vega (Vega, TX) to confront the Longhorns in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Vega lost 49-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Tulia (Tulia, TX)
