The Mt. Pleasant Tigers routed the host Center Roughriders basketball team by a final score of 79-39 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Hallsville Bobcats (Hallsville, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 game, on Tuesday, January 3. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to move on its 20-0 season record.
