The McKinney Lions basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Cypress Creek Cougars to 32 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shadow Creek for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. McKinney will meet a Sharks team coming off a 51-47 non-league win over Crowley (Crowley, TX). The Sharks record now stands at 14-9.
