December 29, 2022: Thomasville, NC 27360 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) and the host East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), saw Wheatmore's basketball squad wallop East Davidson by a tally of 54-31.
With the victory, Wheatmore improves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Warriors host Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Oak Grove won 73-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Glenn (Kernersville, NC)
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 33 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. East Davidson will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 42-32 non-league loss to North Pitt (Bethel, NC).
