December 29, 2022: Flowery Branch, GA 30542 The West Hall Spartans basketball team (Oakwood, GA), was routed 47-7 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA)
The Falcons now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winder-Barrow for a AAAAA Region 8 battle on Tuesday, January 3. Flowery Branch will battle a Bulldoggs team coming off a 55-42 non-league win over Pendleton (Pendleton, SC). The Bulldoggs record now stands at 2-13.
The Spartans (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, East Hall was routed by Lakeview Academy (Gainesville, GA), 54-46, in a non-league battle.
