Illinois High School Basketball - St. Charles East holds off Trinity
December 29, 2022: River Forest, IL 60305 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) and the host Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL), saw St. Charles East's basketball squad hold off Trinity by a tally of 64-58.
With the victory, St. Charles East improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Fighting Saints travel to York (Elmhurst, IL) to confront the Dukes in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Dukes come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. York won 47-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL)
Next up, the Blazers confront the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) in a Girls Catholic - Red challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Trinity will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 36-30 non-league loss to Libertyville (Libertyville, IL).
