New York High School Ice Hockey - Suffern holds off West Genesee
December 29, 2022: Camillus, NY 13031 The Suffern Mounties ice hockey squad scored 2 points and restricted the host West Genesee Wildcats to 1 in the Mounties non-league victory on Thursday.
With the victory, Suffern moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Mounties host Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ) to face the Ironmen in a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. The Ironmen go into the contest with a record of 3-1.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Liverpool for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. West Genesee will face a Warriors squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.
