Louisiana High School Basketball - Bastrop overwhelmed by Marksville
December 29, 2023: Marksville, LA 71351 The Marksville Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Bastrop Rams to 39 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tioga for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Marksville will battle a Indians team coming off a 54-52 non-league win over Jena (Jena, LA). The Indians record now stands at 13-7.
The Rams (3-15) will now prepare for their contest against Mangham (Mangham, LA). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Mangham triumphed over Grant (Dry Prong, LA), 44-33, in a non-league contest.
