December 29, 2023: Morgan City, LA 70380 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Belle Chasse Cardinals (Belle Chasse, LA) and the host Morgan City Tigers (Morgan City, LA), saw Belle Chasse's basketball squad overcome Morgan City by a tally of 61-42.
With the victory, Belle Chasse improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Pope John Paul II won 66-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Avondale, LA)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Morgan City will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record.
