The Pioneers now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paschal for a 6A Region I District 3 battle on Tuesday, January 2. Boswell will confront a Panthers team coming off a 54-51 non-league win over Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 9-8.
The Volunteers (11-10) will now prepare for their battle against Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Gophers come into the 6A Region I District 8 battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, Grand Prairie edged Trinity Leadership (Cedar Hill, TX), 58-38, in a non-league battle.
