January 19, 2024: Arlington, TX 76016 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX) and the visiting Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX), saw Martin's basketball squad overcome Bowie by a tally of 64-54.
With the victory, Martin improves its record to 12-14 on the campaign. The Warriors host South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX) to confront the Warriors in a 6A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 22-6. South Grand Prairie won 72-35 in their recent league challenge against Lamar (Arlington, TX)
Next up, the Volunteers confront the Sam Houston Texans (Arlington, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Bowie will attempt to improve on its 13-14 season record. The Texans come into the challenge with a 4-20 record after their 47-44 league loss to Arlington (Arlington, TX).
