Georgia High School Basketball - Chestatee nips West Hall
December 29, 2023: Gainesville, GA 30505 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA) and the visiting West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA), saw Chestatee's basketball squad hold off West Hall by a count of 59-56.
With the victory, Chestatee upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The War Eagles travel to East Hall (Gainesville, GA) to play the Vikings in a AAAA Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. East Hall lost 62-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeview Academy (Gainesville, GA)
Next up, the Spartans play the Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) in a AAA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 5. West Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 52-47 non-league loss to Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA).
