Georgia High School Basketball - Johnson overwhelmed by Chestatee
December 5, 2023: Gainesville, GA 30505 The Chestatee War Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Johnson Knights to 35 in the War Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The War Eagles now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Hall for a AAAA Region 8 contest on Friday, December 8. Chestatee will battle a Trojans team coming off a 82-70 league loss to East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-4.
The Knights (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Bears come into the AAAA Region 8 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Cherokee Bluff was routed by East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA), 88-78, in a league contest.
