January 19, 2024: Gainesville, GA 30507 In Friday's league outing, the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA), by a margin of 80-9.
The Bears (15-5) will now prepare for their outing against East Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Vikings go into the AAAA Region 8 outing with a 11-9 record. In their last outing, East Hall smashed Bartlett (Anchorage, AK), 62-59, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now own a 0-17 record. They play next when they host West Hall for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 20. Johnson will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 50-43 league loss to Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-13.
