California High School Basketball - Oakwood ripped by Culver City
December 29, 2023: North Hollywood, CA 91601 The Culver City Centaurs basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Oakwood Owls to 45 in the Centaurs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Centaurs now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mira Costa for a Bay contest on Friday, January 5. Culver City will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-4.
The Owls (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA). The Falcons enter the San Gabriel Valley contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Firebaugh was routed by Diamond Bar (Diamond Bar, CA), 63-60, in a non-league contest.
