December 29, 2023: Dunlap, IL 61525 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) and the visiting Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL), saw Dunlap's basketball squad wallop Mahomet-Seymour by a tally of 66-41.
With the victory, Dunlap improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Morton (Morton, IL) to confront the Potters in a Mid-Illini challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Potters come into the challenge with a record of 16-2. Morton won 68-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Centennial (Champaign, IL)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Mahomet-Seymour will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 66-35 non-league win over Schurz (Chicago, IL).
